Hi Pam,

I am very fortunate in having the Brother Quattro Innovis 6700D and I like Chris (cfidl) don't like the fact that the stitch counter for each colour is not on it, like my Husqvarna Designer 1. Always make sure the bobbin is in place correctly too, there is a right way and a wrong way, ask me how I know? With my Husqvarna it stops after 10 stitches for you to cut the thread, the Brother doesn't. Just little things, but each machine has its own quirks. Love and blessings Chris

I use my 4500 all the time. I recently had problems with the upper thread track and hopefully this second time to the shop will resolve it. I say go for it! the large 7 -11(approximate) hoop is wonderful!

1 thing that is not improved is the stitch count for each color. I have it on my husky and wish it were on the brother.

I love my 4000 (no D) He's a work horse. I got him second hand and have only had a few minor problems. He has about 10 million stitches most of which are embroidery not sewing. The only thing I would change about him is his number - 4000 into 6700. Good luck. xx

I would do that also with my 4500!

The Dreamweaver might take 1 place on the wish list, the price is down since I was in the store by $2,000. I also heard the innovis is on its way out altogether and dreamweaver is all that will be available. The major upgrade is the screen.

I have this machine and use it all the time My favorite feature is that it will save your place in the design if you have to switch off in the middle of an embroidery for any reason.

I have mine for several years and love it. I did have to have the memory board replaced once. I miss it when it is in the shop.

Great machine Pam. I have the Galaxie 3000 which later had Disney designs added and renamed. I have no reason to wish to change anything about this great machine. Just a note if you are intending to make stuff to sell you cannot sell anything with the Disney designs on, otherwise buy yourself a fun machine

it was the big hoop and good display that sounded realy good to me . my little black and white dispay at the moment is so bad, i have even embroided the wrong design.

I have this machine, and I like it. you can use the designs of the machine ( realy nice Disney designs) and fonts. you can add designs and text. You can use PC or usb stick for the designs.there are 4 hoops to use a very small, medium, large and extra large. I like the machine.Never have problems, however i bring it to the dealer once a year for cleaning and control. It's also a sewing machine but I never use the sewing part. But when you like to make quilts the machine can sew in different directions. So that's a plus. Hugs, Gerry
