To me it's a bit like cropping a photo in photoshop software. You open the design, click on it and click/drag the tiny squares that appear in a frame around the design. A little white box will show up near the design telling you what the new size is as you drag the little square in or out. Save your new design, I usually add "smaller" to the design name just so I can identify it quickly. I hope this helps.
