Found this machine frame at a sale for $2 with out wood cabinet, Husband had cut sink hole from new counter top in kitchen so had him screw the piece on top for table. I think it is cute.

Great deal and it looks fantastic. My girlfriend found one along the side of the road. She picked it, took it home and put a long piece of glass on top of the frame. She uses it as a sofa table in her living room. I just love it. I have been looking for one too. I hope someday I find one for a couple dollars too. Congrats, Susan

I just sold my Number 1 Antique treadle sewing machine and table to a Sewing Machine Museum in Maryborough, Victoria, Australia. I got an email from them Saturday. I bought the antique sewing machine years ago from an Antique shop in Belmont and as I had two I decided to get rid of one of them. I never used it as a sewing machine, just as a table in our front room. This is the reply I got.

"Chris,
The machine is already up and running - plenty of oil has achieved that!! We just needed to tighten the belt a little. There is an art to putting new belts on - not hard, just a little tricky at times.
The fellow you bought it off no doubt tried his best, and we give him credit for that. Cheers, Judi"

Yours looks really great. Love Chris
