One day a doctor was on call...He received a S.O.O. on his pager calling him in for surgery emergency....So the gentleman raced home to change clothes and straight to the hospital...When he got there, there was a man pacing back and forth frantically...The father started yelling at the doctor.What topok you so long? Why weren't you here right away? My son is dying and you weren't there...Calmly the doctor
spoke gently to the man..Sir I was not at the hospital and I came as soon as I got the message...Please calm down..The best thing you can do is Pray and let me go do my job....Three hours later the doctor came out of surgery smiling then rushed out the door...The father was upset and started yelling at a nurse...Why couldn't he take the time to tell me things...Why did he just rush out the door without talking to me..What kind of a doctor is he anyway? The nurse looked at the man with tears running down her cheek...Sir she said...That doctors son was killed last night...He was at his funeral when he got the page...He is trying to get bsck in time to bury his son.....
I guess the moral is...regardless of what is happening at the time, you never know the circumstances of others...So we all need to be as gentle and loving to everyone at all times of our lives for there are others who have it worse or going through something ore traumatic than ourselves....
Talk about a tear jerker...I heard this on the way to work....Bawling like a baby with red eyes coming in .....
