How terrifying - thank goodness you are safe. Much love to you and the kitties. Sarah.
What a picture. I don't like tornadoes no matter where they are. I am thankful we live in this time in history when there is a little bit more warning than say even 10 years ago. I am happy that your and your babies were ok. I am so sad for those who lost their homes and livelihood..
Me too....I was more worried for them, I felt such a responsibility to get them to a safe environment.......
This was to close for comfort. Glad you and your family are OK. I really wish these storms would stop. I wonder if God isn't trying to tell us something. Stay well and safe. Arlene
I am sure He is, Arlene......we are suppose to have another round go through late tomorrow or Saturday AM
oh my .I am very thank-ful u are well and safe hugs carolyn
Me too, Carolyn.......this pic was snapped just after I emailed you telling you the sirens were going off.....
Oh my...so glad that you and your family are safe...these are scary!
I am so thankful that you are safe....that's some scary stuff!
Oh, Vicki, I'm so very glad all of you are safe! How terribly frightening.
Are you sure it was the "sirens" you were hearing and not the kitty seranade? :-) Take care, dear lady!
LOL, Deb, it could have been they were trying to match the pitch of the siren!!
Amazing!!! I am so glad your biggest prob was the cat oder! Hahaha!!! Hugs, Judy
You are so right, this kitty has IBS and his pooh can really bring tears to the eyes!!
Well you are safe! tornado is very frightening, so near you!
A flower and a hug for you!
You might want to disinfect that puncture wound. Kitties can really get into some bad stuff...like their litter box that requires a gas mask.
Oh yes, I had a bite wound several years ago that almost landed me in the hospital.....8 hours after the bite I had to be taken to the ER to have the junk drained......As soon as I got upstairs I peroxided it and put neosporin on it. I noticed when I took my bath today I also have 3 fairly deep claw marks on my chest.......I was like a momma cub, nothing was going to thwart me getting these cats to safety...LOL!
I hope the bad weather has left your area. I'm glad you had a safe place to wait it out.
Me, too, Bev....it is sunny and cool today.....I would have freaked if I had seen this cloud by the house!!
Wow, so glad you are safe and sound. I rather go through an earthquake then a tornado. Those are so scary. Glad the kitties are safe also.
This is the closest one we have had in 30 years that we have been in this house.......
And we complain about our English weather!
I take it you don't get this kind of stuff, Sue? It's like a cardio workout, gets your heart really pumping!!!
Yikes!! It is a smart thing to take warnings seriously - even though one kitty made it difficult for you - lol. Hugs, Laura*
Yeah, Laura and of course they all had to serenade me the whole time we were in the basement......I was ready to take my chances with the weather...LOL!
Wow! Soooo glad you are safe! Tornados scare me to pieces. Take care! This is supposed to be a rough year!
I know, my heart was thumping out of my chest, I couldn't see anything but just kept hearing the siren go off, it was nerve shattering!!
oh my...Thank Goodness for your safety and taking care of the kitties..
Yes, indeed...I have a pretty deep puncture wound on my hand, as Sammi got scared when I was carrying him down the stairs and he clawed my hand with his back paw....that was the only injury...LOL! Hurts like heck today though.........
