Sold Avon 25 yrs. Skin So Soft works great to repel fleas, but not sure about the flies. Won't hurt to try it. Don't overdo it or he will look like a "punk puppy" with his hair sticking up & oily! Won't hurt him as it's a bath oil!
Please consult your vet.
I am sure the vet will recommend that you move someplace like my neighborhood -- to get away from the biting flies. ;)
Don't make your Mr. Peeko sick.
Hugs!
Well thats why i go to my camper NO black-flies there and we all are outside most of the day.hugs
Be very careful though, you don't want to make him sick with too many pesticides. Are you speaking of fleas? We use a product called frontline for fleas and ticks, and use it once a month. Have you called your vet to see what they recommend?
Have you ever heard of Skin So Soft by Avon? Rub some onyour hands and then wipe through the dog's fur. Have also been told bathing them in salt water helps. Good luck, Susan
You can buy a product at Walmart that is for flea and ticks. I\t comes it in littlr tubes that you squeeze on the dog's ne and back and lasts for three months. Check in the pet department in the dog aisle.
Should work for bugs, too.
If you are using Revolution you should not use another type of bug killer. Please check with your vet before you put anything else with a pesticide in it on your pet; it could be deadly Skin-so-soft does not have any pesticides in it and it may help with the biting flies.
Not sure if you can get it in Canada but I use a cream called "shoo fly" its primarily used to keep flys from horses etc, I know it sounds silly but my vet suggested it another way to stop them rebiting is vasoline-petrolium jelly.. good luck Mr.Peeko
We used to use Sevin dust on our pets for fleas. Maybe?
