234253You earned your angel wings. How fortunate you MIL was to have you. I took care of my MIL in the end. I tucked her into bed for the last time. I felt blessed to have the opportunity to care for her.

32948I am sorry for your loss and so glad you were there for her at the end to bless her passage. I know this can be difficult for those who sit and wait, and doesn't feel very special, but it was a blessing to her, and I hope will be for you some day. I was there with my husband when he died and much later saw it was a blessing, though very hard at the time. I hope your life slows down a bit now and you can get back to "normal", whatever that is. Prayers for you and your husband and his extended family.
