I am afraid that I am going to have to have a moan. Why is it that Cuties (mainly newbies) ask questions - which are painstakingly answered - sometimes with a lot of work involved, looking up various web sites etc? It would be so nice (and polite) to get some sort of feedback. Sarah.

Well as for myself...I was able to ask questions for awhile there but wasn't able to answer...so i made it be known in a new link...however i am so glad it is working now for me....we did have quite a problem when things moved around....

I say Thank You to anyone who gives a free design or advise and I think if anyone does ANYTHING for someone else they deserve a thank you. It takes so little time to say thank you and it means so much to the person receiving it. Juanita

Thank you all for your comments - maybe I came over a little too strong, for which I apologise. Sarah.

I noticed too that when people are upset...think they didn't get their download or got charged twice or something they NEVER come back and say "thanks for solving the problem" or "nevermind I found the downloads in a different folder". They will have 20 suggestions or possible remedies but never respond again. They just like to bust out the caps lock on somebody then crawl away reinforcing my opinion that they are rude.

When I was new, I didn't understand what all I could do on the site and what I had permission to do as a visitor who did not have a paid membership. Also, I think when someone asks help me find a purple polka dot swordfish, the underlying questions are, is there a way to search on this site, and how do I search in general on sites? and of course, what are the best sites to search on? All of this takes quite a while to learn. As for manners, yes we need to put our best foot forward, but I don't add a thank you to something that already has 40, I just flower. Love ya'll.

But the one who asked the question could at least say I found what I was looking for / problem solved - or not if that's the case. Sometimes I have the feeling they don't even see the answers but expect a new thread (which makes it often difficult to know what the original question was).

Thank you Martine

That gets to me a little bit to...but maybe it's because they are so new. But sometimes the questions they are asking are as simple as looking through designs on the site or googling. I never asked anyone to find me a design on Cuties I took the time and looked!

I agree! If I want a design I look for it myself instead of having someone else do it for me. Juanita

I also agree Muffy, it took me weeks to go through this web site properly... but it didn't take long to skim the pages if I was looking for something in particular..Sometimes people get a little impaient and think it be as easy as pushing a button and hey presto it magically appears, and manners go out the window.. which is the one thing our mothers taught us from an early age..

I suspect that new threads are easier to do to than to comment. Perhaps they just don't know how to respond. I do hope they are seeing your sweet responses and appreciate that you go to a lot of trouble to answer them. :)

I think some newbies ask questions and simply don't know how the site works and they never see the answers.

One of my pet peeves also. If you can't thank the people who helped you at least acknowledge that you got the info. Some never answer at all

Have to also agree with your post and other Cuties reply's. Manners cost absolutely nothing. :)

I agree with you Sarah. I often see those posts where you wonder if the answers helped or if the issue was solved. It would be so nice to see some kind of acknowledgement for the Cuties that take the time to research and answer. Sometimes I wonder if they don't know how to get back to their post.

I wish we got some kind of notice when there is a new post to a question or comment. When I first joined I thought that's what the flowers were for, lol
