11929Hi. I don't know if you have already sorted a design but just by chance I looked further into a site that I had not come across in any search but was posted here today in relation to a freebie. I have posted the site link below. In the left column, go to 'Tattoo' and then 'Tattoo & Tribal Style.' You will find one skull design on pages 3,7,17,21 and eight skull designs on page 14. I don't think that any of these will create stitch density issues. There is one further design on page 1 of 'Misc. Motifs.' Unfortunately, none of the designs has any text included but you may be able to get around this. Prices for each design are in the region of $3.00

you might talk her into incorporating the Memento Mori into her design. This one would definitely work on chiffon.
158553I have continued my quest to try and find something that meets your needs but I have to report that other than those already brought to you attention, I have found nothing else apart from some obscure sites that I was not aware of. If you do go down the route of asking for outside help on this, it might be worthwhile for you to have a look at some of the designs under tattooing. Google Memento Mori tattoo designs for some adeas but I don't know how you might stand on rhe copyright issue. Sorry I could not be of more help.

11929Maybe this one from DBC works? Not sure how it looks in one color. Or just the design from the sugar skull pincushion from Urban?

Since I have the design, I took the eye/fill out , didn't have any effect on the design. I just did this in a program not stitching it out.

This is commemorative of the Day of the Dead or Día de los muertos it's a very big especially Latin celebration. A little bit like our Halloween, but more to remember lost love ones. Shrines are built with the favorite things of the loved one placed on them, like cigarettes, liquor, cakes, perfume, etc. There is quite a large one in Atlanta, Georgia, USA that I have attended with much interest as my daughter-in-law is Latina. ;)

Yes. Sorry for the ISO. And that is exactly why I was searching for it. But I wish there was one that had the words Memento Mori worked into the skull.
