Looking for information on Harley Davidson Designs..I would like to know if anyone out there has attempted to gt copyright permission to be able to run them? Or if they have had trouble with kewlstitches? I ordered a pack from them and the file was empty? or appeared to be empty..

I have just tried adding some further guidance on this subject but when I hit the 'submit' button it all disappeared into the upper ether. Very frustrating and not the first time! If you need anything further, send me a PM.

Unless the designs contain the TM or Copyright symbol within the design, it is nearly 100% likely the design is illegal. Also, look for wording on the website for a statement indicating the vendor is licensed. Harley Davidson protects its designs, if you feel you have purchased illegal merchandise, contact Harley Davidson to make a report.

There are further designs that may be of interest at the link below. Click on 'Transportation' and then 'Motorcycles.' The designs are various and although not specifically named as such, several look exactly like Harley's. No logo's though.

Are you asking about Harley bikes or Harley logos? It has been my understanding that the logos are copywrited and cannot be used w/o permission. I'd like more info clarifying this. If anyone knows. My son rides a Harley.

Hi there. I have had no experience with kewlstitches, so cannot comment on this issue. However, I can provide you with several points of contact where Harley motorcycle designs are available. The web links are below and I would add the following comment in the order the links appear, as follows:

1. Threadart: I have used several of these designs which can be immediately downloaded, and found the quality to be very good.

2. Astitchahalf: These designs are of vintage Harley's. I have not used this site. Please read the comment on the Home Page which would suggest that due to an illness, the site may not be operating at this time. I cannot confirm if this message is current.

3. Lineldesigns: This site shows the availability of a 'Mini Collection Motorcycles' comprising 54 royalty free pre-tested designs for a reduced price of $39.00 although not all the designs are of Harley's.

4. Uniquewear: I have used this company for several of their Honda Goldwing designs and found the quality to be very good. They list 5No. Harley designs.
