Fabric alert!I need help in locating this beautiful fabric from Mary Engelbreit. It is discontinued but was available in red, yellow, or black background. I made a sewing machine cover for my embroidery machine but while I was very ill someone(probably a visiting care taker)stole it.Also taken was my thread catcher that a cutie sent me.(I have found the thread catcher pattern but would like to find the fabric in a continuous piece. I will buy whatever anyone has but prefer a large piece.I am sorry to say I can't do as good a job on the thread catcher as the cutie who did it.

I KNOW that I was looking at that very fabric today. I do not remember where I saw it, but I'll give you the links to two places that I was browsing. I hope you find what you are looking for.
Regardless, I hope that health returns to you in such a way that you have cause to celebrate, and all things frustrating melt away as the sunshine of the future rises in your life!! Best wishes for your search and your health!

Ah, dear Stella, being ill is not fun at all, and getting older isn't on my favourites list, either, any more. You need help, but you can't always trust people, I guess. Well, at least you got some leads on the fabric, hope they work out. And go ahead, tempt fate, purchase green bananas, live dangerously!! Hope you're feeling better, and continue to get better every day. Hugs, Marji

Hard to believe a fellow embroiderer would behave like this. Maybe she was intending to sell them at the markets.

Hi Stella, sorry to hear you have been under the weather, so to speak. I can't believe someone would stoop so low as to steal those precious items. I'm so glad some of the Cuties have rallied to your assistance. Love and blessings Chris

This link shows a piece of fabric that looks just like yours. My mom had to go to the hospital for a few days and she got a bonded service to take care of my dad who was almost blind at the time. I did arrive to find him not being looked after and one of the caregivers took her silverware, checks and even used them for purchases, and several credit cards. A year later a landlord called and asked if this was my mom and he was redoing an apartment and when he pulled the carpet up there were her credit cards - of course they all had been cancelled but it was nice of him to get them back to her. She did make settlement with the caregiver service.

Good for you for finding the fabric. I just looked and love some of the other fabrics they have and they are not far from me. Will have to look into seeing if they have a store.

It looked reasonably priced also. Maybe you can go see what else they have to offer.

If I had the fabric I would mail it to you right now. Sadly I don't. However, I did find some for sale on etsy.
I hope she has enough for you. I will continue my search... let me know when you have what you need.

Now that's a darn good curse if ever I heard one! You are right about the helpful Cuties, someone will have the solution.

I thought it before I read what Sharon... said. Sounds so Shakespearean. I might need to save this. You never know when a sneaky, thieving stitcher might sneak up behind you!

As a rule I always tell cleaning ladies-Please just don't steal anything, If you like it Just Ask me -Sometimes I just give it away or I can make you one.-But this time i was very out of it so to speak and I was unable to check bags.SAD SAD SAD. I'm at the point where I don't even dare buy green bananas so all they have to do is wait for the estate sale.

bevintex by bevintex 29 Apr 2013

It is sad but they are many good people in the world. We have a whole bunch of them right here on Cute. I don't see how anyone could enjoy something knowing the took it away from another. I'm the same way as you are. If you need something just ask. I will try to find a way to get you one of your own or maybe even make you one. You are among friends here .
