In 1950's "Clot" was a popular description for what you might call a bonehead. I haven't heard it used for years!
In our house we suffer from Culinary Thrombosis (a clot in the kitchen).

Sorry for the confusion jrob but suedewsbury has hit the nail on the head (or should that be bonehead). 'Culinary Thrombosis' ....I like that.....very funny. Okay, I am now off to find myself an English-American translation book!!
158560I thought perhaps that I might plan such a gathering for the blokes. Now, I accept that any photographic evidence of such a gathering would not be as good looking as these fine Cuties but you can't have everything! Furthermore, I'm not convinced that the term "Cuties" could be applied to a male gathering, so if I can find any to invite I shall call it a 'Gathering of Clots.'
