My machine was acting up and not framing just right. I tried 3 times by re hooping new fabric. I walked away... I went back and re threaded - to my horror, I had the wrong foot on the machine.. I had switched it to regular sewing and forgot to change the foot. I guess it would e great to have 2 machines. But then, I guess I should just slow down and pay more attention.... Of course, my dh said " nut behind the wheel". Got a good laugh.

Yep, I like the combo machines, but I end up doing embroidery on them.

Done that once - when I showed someone how easy it was to embroider something on a dress that I was making for my granddaughter. Nice demo!

I've done the exact same thing and couldn't figure out what I was doing wrong. One track mind, forgetting to take each step in order, gets me everytime! LOL Thanks for the smile. I'm taking a break 'cause I about ripped the beautiful lace on the christening gown I'm making. Urgh! So, your story helped relieve the tension, too, along with Sue's missing zip stick story and napkin adventure. So, this nut is going back to the wheel. Great comment from your hubby, BTW.

Can't say I've done that, but I lift my feed dogs and of course it wouldn't embroider....spent about 20 minutes trying to figure out what was wrong...DUH! ;)
