To all prayer warriors on here, this is a request from me for a positive outcome on today's election of a Bishop. As many of you know I am a Synod representative for the Anglican Church of Australia here in Newcastle. Today we are voting for 5 nominees for the Bishop of Newcastle. There is 1 woman and 4 men who have been put forward. I will be away all day today and tomorrow along with the whole diocese (about 300 representatives, clergy and laity).

Dear All,
Thanks so much for the prayers for yesterday and today. I've just come home and wanted to let you know that we DIDN'T elect a Bishop. It was a very close call and so now we will have to go back in 3 month's time and do it all over again. There may be more candidates at that time too. We will just have to pray for and wait on God's time to choose the right person. Love and blessings Chris

Chris I am 'no prayer warrior' but hope that there is a positive outcome that the majority amicably agree on. Was listening to the World Service on the radio in the middle of the night and heard all about a project in Newcastle. I then thought to myself well that is where Chris P lives.
