I have finally uploaded my niece, Natalie's wedding photos from 5 March. Isn't she the most stunning bride?

You'd never believe she is 40, would you? She's a personal fitness trainer and is so slim her wedding dress fitted her like a glove, but more importantly, I have never seen her so ecstatically happy.
She has had a tough life, her dad drowned in a boating accident when she was 11, then she suffered head trauma when a woman driver ran off the road into the bus shed where Natalie was waiting for the school bus.

Shortly after she recovered from that she started having seizures and has been on constant medication to keep them under control, but even with the meds she still has grand mal seizures at the slightest provocation.

There is much more to her story leading up to this wonderful day.

She knew Andrew (her new husband) some twenty years ago when they were both college students, but they weren't involved back then.

Then last year Andrew was going through a box of stuff and he came across an old Christmas card from Natalie, which set him off on a journey to find her, but he couldn't remember her surname.

Then a month or so later, he was driving down a main street in a western Sydney suburb, when, like a bolt of lightning, he remembered the street was named after Natalie's Grandmother. So the hunt began in earnest and he tracked her down on Facebook.....
and this is the result.
The last two photo's were impromptu at the request of the onlookers.
I am so happy for them.

What a wonderful story they will have to tell their children and grandchildren even the grey skies couldn't stop her shining like a star.. hope the have many wonderful years together. Thanks for sharing

Well here's the thing, her epilepsy medication would be far too dangerous for there to be any possibility of her carrying a baby to term and it is too dangerous, (possibly even life threatening) to herself to stop the medication for such a long period. This was the reason her first marriage ended.
So we await the next episode to see what will be.

Yes Loralye, they are meant for each other.
Natalie and her sister are the nearest thing I have to daughters, being my sister's daughters, and I love them both dearly. Hugs, Meg

Oh Meg what a wonderful story :o)
Although the sky looks dark and there is no sun the bride is shinning bright. You can see how happy they are mots of all for me when she touches his cheek on the last pic. Wish them all the best for their future...

Thanks Bettina. It had rained on and off all day but it stopped at the right times and the sun shone through when it was needed. I don't think anything could have dampened their spirits.
