New computer arriving today...Windows 8...scary! Hoping all my programs will work okay...I have Embird Basic, Palette 9 and Janome ProMB3...any Cutie out there running any of these on Windows 8 and have any tips or advice...or problems? Thanks, and I could use a prayer or two...

You will love Windows 8 when you get used to it. I'm 70+ and have ha mine since Jan. Bought the Windows 8 for Dummies book to help me. I learn by reading then trying different things. PM me if you get stuck.

I am running very well, PE Design 8 on my Windows 8. I have found my new laptop and all that goes with it fine after all the scary stories that I heard about it.
