Seriously though, I am so, so, sorry you did this to yourself.
I was watching a cooking show on telly one day when the chef sliced his finger on his mandolin, boy did they cut to a commercial quickly.
I am always very wary when I use mine and especially so when slicing potatoes as they tend to stick to the blade, making them even more dangerous to slice.

Mmmm i did cringe when the dr couldnt unstick my bandage..... Makes my toenails curl thinking about it . Hubby has been a gem :)

23579I am so sorry to hear about this injury. I so can feel your pain. Been there and got a chunk taken out with the Food Processor Chopper Attachment. Those blades are dangerous but I didn't toss mine out. Just been extremely careful since. Hold your hand up close to your shoulder and that helps somewhat with the throbbing.
