I came to realize that I have thousands of designs and use the same ones over and over. I almost always use my candi font from 8claws. It works well for girls of all ages and they love it. The photo doesn't do justice to the awesome end product which is smooth, bold and gorgeous.

I have a 3 year old girl and I get invited to a lot of birthday parties. Right now my favorite design is the free princess hat from planet applique. People love it. So simple to do.

My favorite font is heather from GGdesign. The Candifont has some of the upper letters that looks like the small ones (A, M, N) and I've learned in school another style (same as the heatherfont).
Sometimes I made an experiment with a new design and it ends up in a mess so for customers I only use well tested designs ;o)
Greetings, Bettina

I think we probably all have our favourites. I find if a design stitches out well, I use it over and over again. I also love the fonts from 8 claws and have many. Their prices are great too. Sarah.

I have a lot of favourites - expecially ones from Cuties, that I use all the time and always get compliments on my work. I also love Hatched in Africa's designs. They also stich out beautifully. So, I think mine are like comfortable shoes - I wear them all the time. Lovies.

The Candi is sweet and I don't really want to rain on your parade but.... the schools barely teach cursive anymore. My 16 year old can hardly read it. When they do teach it I believe it is around 2nd grade so that's 8 years old. So my kids learned it but then they weren't required to use it so they forgot it. However, they do teach keyboarding/typing in elementary school now.

Well, I guess my "kids font" on my 3D will be just about right for everyone now! It's printed & sorta like a 4 yr old did it. What a shame we are losing the ability to write beautiful letters.

Cursive is a faster way of writing than printing. They don't teach cursive until the children have the basics of reading down because they want kids to recognize printed words. Because kids don't do things like building models, or making doll clothes, or playing piano anymore, they often lack the motor skills to control the pencil to write cursive.

I have a large group I use often but always seek projects that will use ones I have not used.

I also often keep to a small set of designs. Is it possibly because we know they stitch out well and if are being used as present are always well received. I particularly love theVictorian font from AnnaBove. Embroiderydesigns are possibly like clothes - I have a small selection I use regularly but have ones I never wear.
