Help from someone familiar with Viking Designer 1 VIP software. My Control Panel has disappeared; I went to the toolbar and the Control Panel Icon is checked as it should be but the Control Panel does not appear with any design. Thanks for any suggestions.

I had VIP Pro in the past, now I have 5D Pro. But I remember some control panels and the toolbar occasionally disappeared from the screen, just a tip showing. Do as mrskiki suggested, drag ir back, that worked for me.

I have 5D but am intimidated by it and haven't learned how to use the features. Guess I will have to if I cannot fix the VIP.Thanks for your suggestions.

Are you talking about the control panel that lists you design colors along with the buttons for edit, letters, etc? If that is missing, take your cursor and put it along the far right edge until it shows like a plus sign, hold down your mouse and slide it to the left until you can see your controls. Hope this helps you. Hugs. Nan W

Thanks, but that didn't work. Strange though, when I print a design the color chart that is part of the Control Panel prints. Obviously it is hidden somewhere. Thanks again.

Are you saying software on computer. Try going to --all programs-- your software--then configure-reset all modules.

Before you do anything drastic, reboot your computer to see if the problem goes away.

Don't know if this will help or not. I din't have my designer 1 anymore but it may be that that isn't where the problem is. I have had things (folders, files, etc) dissapear and thought they were gone only to find it later in another spot. Maybe that is why your check mark shows. Try looking around in your documents , files etc and see if there happens to be a Control Panel in there. Hope this makes sense, I am not a 'computer person' but have learned lots but not being afraid to click away!!I'm sure someone else will explain it better.
