Think I would be returning to the shop for assistance
I hope you bought it from a reputable dealer...my advice...take it back.
If you broke needles, you may have damaged the bobbin case. It is way too easy with the Futura to ruin a bobbin case with one broken needle. Take it to a qualified repair shop. If they have to replace parts, you may want to return it. I found that my machine lasted for years after the initial bobbin case broke. I think it lasted so long because I changed the needle often and I babysat the thing for every stitch.
If you decide to keep it, make sure you read the manual and all help files as you learn your machine. Once I figured the machine and its quirks out, I enjoyed it. Good luck!
I love my 1974 Singer Futura Sewing machine, but Ive heard nothing but bad about recent machines....So sorry....
I also had a new Futura and it was nothing but problems, sewed beautifully but would not embroider.bad tension problems. Mine went back for a full refund. I would return it.
