Good luck on doing this. Of course I can be no help to you but I can wish you the best of luck. 2003 huh........you need an upgrade as you are missing out on the most wonderful world of embroidery.

You should be able to copy the program to your laptop. If you don't feel comfortable doing so, take it and your PC to computer shop & explain what you want & assist the technician with program info. They shouldn't charge you but a few pence.

Open your Desktop in 'C' drive, look for your Husquavarna D1 files & copy onto a flash drive or external drive then coppy it into your laptop in the same folder e,g, 'C' drive or 'c drive then 'program files' or 'C drive then 'Programdata'. When you have copied all files over to your laptop go into your file list for you D1 & find the excutable (running) file making sure it is the right one then go back to it and right click your mouse & click on create shortcut to put onto your desktop for ease of finding the file. This does work but you must past the files in the same drive & folders & the folder files must have the exact name. Best of Luck.

You might be able to go into your "C" drive and find the program and if it has an exe. (executable) extension you could write that to a DVD and install it that way. There are ways to transfer or link computers together like they do in business but I don't know if you can transfer a software program.

For safety reasons please go back to your post and delete your e-mail address. Where it says Add Comment there is an arrow and a drop down menu with edit.
