Hi cuties, question for you all,

Do any cuties post and sell their finished products on Etsy and if so, is it worth the effort.

Look forward to your reponses,
hugs
Michelle

Hello Michelle,
Sue has asked the same a few weeks ago so I'm lazy and just copy you the link to that post (incl. my answer *lol*). Maybe some newbies joined us and have some new aspects? ;o)
Greetings, Bettina
PS: I think this depends very much which legal aspects you have in Canada. If you sell here in Germany you are soon forced to register as a business and this means a lot of red tape. At the moment I'm thinking of quit cause we have so many rules and limitations and there are always attorneys around looking for somebody who makes a fault. The costs for a liabiltity are out of all proportion to the little profit you make :o(

I don't wanna deter you from trying it. My shop was successful and it is for me more comfortable than going to craft fairs (>have somebody to watch for my kids/ do the people there like my kind of stuff/ are they willing to pay my price/ how much is the stand fee?).
But here it becomes more and more bureaucratic and less creative :o(
You have always to think about: Has somebody the rights for this style or even the word? Are you allowed to sell this product (a heatpad is a medical product! and for most of the babystuff you need the CE-sign)? Is your description complete (everything you used from fabric to thread, the artist who made the designs, color and messures, shipping, delivery time)? Are your general terms and conditions correct (a wrong word can be expensive!)? All this rains on my parade and let me loose the fun...
Greetings, Bettina
