Has anyone ever use Bona Hardwood Floor Cleaner? If so, how'd it work and how'd you use it?

We are having company for Christmas so I'm trying to clean (ie - set up the machine to embroider - clean something. Return to machine - clean something else.)
My floors have a matte poly on them and they look pretty dull. My husband said to only ever use a little vinegar and a little dish soap. Well..... they look terrible so I bought Bona. I've swept, vacuumed and mopped. Now I'm on my hands and knees spraying and wiping and buffing. I have 1 of 6 rooms done and if it looks any better - it isn't by much. Is there a trick?
Usually within 10 minutes of mopping my floors look like the animals have been on them for days. Maybe the trick is I need to be patient and the floors will still look good in a couple days? I REALLY don't wanna be doing this Christmas morning before they arrive!

Go back to the vinegar water as a rinse NO soap . Sometimes you have such a build up of solutions that the floors do become sticky. I use Murphy's oil soap as a cleaner but, then clear water rinse.

I typically do use just vinegar. When the dogs have been muddy, thats when I use a bit of soap and then go back and rinse. I tried murphys oil soap once and my husband about strangled me when he found out… So I haven't done that again - but I do use it on my cabinets :)

I use it all time just spray it on the mop i and using then spray the floor and run your mop in the directions of the boards in your floor do not walk on it untill dry.leaves a clean and pretty floor I use the little wet mop that uses the pads but I use a dry pad to start witn and spray my cleaner on it . if I am in a big hurrt I use a string mop went is water and white viager be sure to ring mop out real good it will clean dry fast and leave a shine.

I haven't really used anything on them except vinegar and a bit of soap every now and again for about 2.5 years (except that Murphys Oil Soap incident). I guess if I do this more than every 2 years they will stay prettier and be much easier to clean! I can probably just attach a rag to my swiffer mop and do it that way… Thanks so much!!

I really can't complain about these floors. They are absolutely beautiful. I couldn't have picked a prettier floor if given the option. I have carpet in my bedrooms and bonus room - but hardwood everywhere else. :)
