O.K. ladies, has anyone got any ideas for some sort of sweet treat I could make (she is one of our grand-daughters) for a child who cannot eat eggs or nuts.

I have a niece with Celiac's and she can't eat gluten, and lots of other things. One year when she was little, I made cornflake wreaths and I had to hid them from everyone because EVERYONE ate them! I have made them, by request, every year since.

Remove the small us in the address and make them capital US and the link will work. I don't know why it does that all the time. Link below works.

You could always make Chocolate Crackles with rice bubbles. kids love them and they are quick to make . No oven needed. If you need the recipe let me know. Hugs Joyce

I am going to make Honey Crackles (Joys) too Joyce as I know our family love those. Haven't made Chocolate Crackles for years! I've never liked them, so hence me not making them and they are so easy too. Merry Christmas to you and yours, love Chris

How about a toffee brittle without nuts, pieces then dipped in chocolate and rolled in rice crispy cereal...could even be a chocolate rice crispy cereal. Or caramel squares dipped in chocolate...also yummy!

We have a can of what we call eagle brand milk .It is thick and sweet also u buy it in caramel .I buy caramel put it & 2 cups of brown sugar &1 cup of butter in the microwave for 10 minutes open door and stir every 2 minutes.
Remove from miccrowave and beat with an electric mixer for 3 minutes or until its smooth or starts to thicken
line an 8x8 baking dish with tin foil overlap the sides for easy removal.
