Well, I use RA, both poly and rayon. Have used a little maderia, and do use Sulky. I try to use poly if item goes on something that is washed a lot, but really have not seen the difference. So far, have not had a problem with any runs when washed - of course, I do not have many projects that I have stitched out - usually goes to gifts.

I have the same machine and use Maderia all the time, haven't had a problem. They wash beautifully as long as you don't use bleach. I did the large lady and the two boys on the potty on a set of towels and they came out great and washed up really nice.

Can't get RA over here, so use Marathon poly since a couple of months and Madeira rayon since 1993. Never had any problem of running or bleeding.

I like RA.It stitches out beautifully on my MC300e.I found Madeira was really good too.Had no problems with runs or shredding from either of them. And RA have a gorgeous colour range.

RA Poly is colorfast and can also be put on garments that will be washed with bleach, however I have heard that RA rayon may bleed although I haven't experienced that problem. Hope this helps

I have used Madeira rayon thread and so far I have never had any problems. If you go to the madeira webpage yo can find information on how to take care of the thread specially on the first wash. see the link below for more info.

I've never had any problem with Maderia, however my thread of choice is Sulky simply because there is a dealer within 100 miles who sells to be wholesale. I have not tried Robinson-Anton. I might suggest you go to their websites. With the reputation that these two mfg. have I am sure that they tell you how to treat the sewn out thread. ;)
