6241Lillian if your pain is in the lower back it could be kidneys drink lots of water & go too the powder room lots to flush them out. or try stretching lie on a firm flat surface feet together toes pointed arms above your headhead and stretch and for as long as you can then relax repeat a few times. to sit up if no one there to take the strain off your back roll onto your side and use your arms to push yourself up too a sitting position then hold onto something to take your weight to stand. also when standing from a sitting always use something to take the strain off your back. I stretch before I get out of bed each time.

I know what you are going through because I broke my back and was then also diagnosed with advanced osteoporosis. I am also in constant pain and cannot take a lot of pain medication because my DH has started signs of alzheimers and I have to be on call all the time, since he forgets what time of day or night it isand a lot of other problems associated with the disease. Sorry to hear about your severe back pain. I feel for you and pray for a speedy recovery. Just got over a three week agony with a slipped disk. This is very painful. couldn't even get myself to go to the Dr. I am not too fond of them unless it's an emergency. On top of it all, my mom was in the hospital for a week and rehab for two weeks. Of course I visited her every single day. It was painful, but I forced myself to do so. I still have a slight pain, but that's tolerable. Anyway, I would suggest for you to get one of those emergency buttons. They are the greatest things to have. You get a response within a few minutes, and they will stay with you on the phone until help comes.

360437I am so very sorry you are going through this awful pain. It is so hard to do what you have to do when you are crippled with pain. Since the heating pad helps, ask your kids if they can get you heat patches that can be wrapped around your waist. Get the generic, they are cheaper. They last 10-12 hours. They will not burn you no matter how long you wear it. Please us informed. My prayers re with you.
