1 more question LOL I think LOL I have a lot of my files in hus and vip and this machine takes pes and dst, I have 4D and PE Design ver7.

I know my 4D will change formats does the PE? And if so how? totally new to me.

I'd use 4D for the time being so you can use your new machine and get to know the PE software in the meantime. No need to try a free software when you can so easily do it in your 4D.

yes that has been what I have been doing. the other software looks promising though I can do a lot more than my 4D lets me do. I have worked in the 5D and didnt like it, so far both programs are not very stable crash a lot especially the view module.

I have pe 6, you can change them in design data base, right click in properties, I hope they are the same, otherwise you can change them in the Wilcom TRue sizer, there has often been the web site address on here(don't know how to do it.) hope this helps....Wendy
