Please help!! My embroidery machine just died and I need a new one can only spend $2,000 or less. I need to know the best machine in my price range there are no dealers in my area and the price of gas is so high I have to purchase it over the internet or by phone. I would like a good brother but they won't let me buy it over the phone or internet. What do you suggest?? Thanks Dean

If Walmart has it you can have it shipped to your home.

Dean, check out www.kenssewingcenter.com for new, refurbished, and gently loved machines at most reasonable prices. Shipping is often free.
I am not affiliated; just a happy customer. Ken's has a great reputation for customer service, and has been in business for many years.

I am purchasing a Brother PR-620 for $2500 extra low hours cap hoop, 4 rectangles, PE Design Ver 7 sealed, stabilizer, stand and tools. I found it on Craigslist and is only a little over an hour away.
While I have been looking I saw some on Ebay for $2500 including shipping. They wanted you to contact them from their personal email. I did and asking how it would work. the person said he would create an invoice from ebay to send him all my info and we would continue from there. I went back to look at the machine and all 3 he had up were gone. When I asked him what happen he stated he took them off for me and just send the info. I felt uncomfortable about it now so I just didn't do anything more. I was still watching ebay and yesterday the 3 machines are back by a different seller. not sure if it is a rip off or not just didn't feel right to me.

Be VERY CAREFUL on Craiglist. I have heard so many horror stories of scams and almost got into one myself.

I would be VERY CAREFUL about any seller on E-Bay that is asking you to send personal information outside of E-Bay...there are warnings by E-Bay about contacting vendor outside of E-Bay...

jerrib how on craigslist when you go pick the item up yourself, I have not given a dime to them until I get the machine. I work to hard to send money to anyone without knowing it is a real thing. Item in hand is the best way for me to go.

I bought a Babylock ellegante and an Ellissimo off eBAY. Never had ANY doubt about the transaction. I later sold both and offered freebies(fabric, thread, etc)No problems at all.

I got my baby brother off ebay, however it was a lot less than what you are spending. My big machine I purchased used off craigslist.
