I think that using a print with the tiger emerging was a good call. If you wanted to change anything, I would go with a foliage print instead of an animal print, but I see nothing wrong with what you did here!
I look forward to seeing how it will look on black velvet. It would be like the tiger and cub emerging from the darkness. That would be a very striking scenic design as well. Great job!!

19439I don't think it will look near as good on a plain fabric,it's not a full tiger. I think with the animal print back ground it looks like she is emerging from the jungle. If you are looking for a more real feeling,than I think you have it with the way you did it. I think the plain will give it a one dimentional, flat look. With the way it is it makes you look again to make sure it is not going to jump out at you and that you haven't missed any details.Beautiful work! Richelle

The tiger does appear to emerge from the leaves. This would be good on a jacket back! Waiting to see the velvet version!

The tiger was one hooping, each flower side was separate. I had to line them up just right over and around the tiger. I just bought the velvet, can't wait! Thanks for the compliment, Martine, means a lot.
