We farewelled my sister yesterday with a lovely service wich she had prepared before passing away. The church was packed and many more were at the graveside. A very sad day. It is just so hard to say that final goodbye. Many thanks for your love and prayers. Shirley

Shirley, You have been through so much, and now your sister is at peace. You must be exhausted. I am so sorry for your loss of your sister, I lost mine way too many years ago. Someday you will be able to remember all the times when she was healthy and happy. I wish I could give you a hug to take away all your pain. I will pray for you. I'm very glad your other sister is okay. You have been through so much. May God grant you peace. Love and Hugs, Jan in Colorado

Shirley, you have my deepest sympathy. What a blessing you had that she prepared her service so it was a part of her and I'm sure there were parts you could feel her with you. Blessings on you and prayers for a healing heart.

Yes, it is so difficult to say goodbye. It must have been heartening, though, that all those people came to wish her farewell; and grief shared is grief somewhat lessened. It won't go away, but at least you know that other people feel like you do. Don't hesitate to cry togethr with them, and also laugh with them, remembering all the good times with your sister. I know it's hard, prayer goes far to sustain you. Very big hugs, Marji
