Does anybody have the new Brother 6700D?? It claims to be able to enlarge a design by 200%. Would love some feedback on this feature and the machine too. Ta, Lyn. xx

Just a note, I have the software program called SizeWorks, and it will enlarge 200% and reduce by 100% as well. If you aren't in need a new machine, software might do the trick (less expensive) at least for the short run!

6700D? You are making my ULT2003D sound very old! Sorry, I don't know anything about the new machine.

I had the Super Galaxie 2003. Same machine - Aussie name. Do you like him? I hated mine. I sold him & got a 4000. much happier. xx

I have the sister machine, the Baby Lock Ellisimo...and, and yes, it will enlarge the designs 200%. I have tried some of the designs built in to my machine and it does a great job..but, I always look at the enlargement version to check for breaks in the stitches..also you may need to adjust the density of the design...there is a density setting in the same screen of the enlargement (at least on the Ellisimo). I have tried some of my purchased designs..just be aware that if there are some "special" stitches like embossing or motif or...there may a problem if the machine can't recognize the stitch specifics...but, all in all, I think it works really well...in the preview in the enlargement mode, you can pretty well see if there will be any distortion...if in doubt...test..sometimes I will just forward to the spot I feel might be a problem and sew it out...
