Does anybody use brother PE design 6 or other, is everything you save in layout and editing, supposed to go automaticly to Design data base I am having my computer fixed next week and if this is right I will ask about this too,hope someone can help I am very nervous writing this. Wendy (its saying my spelling is wrong but does not show a different spelling when checked)

You are going to be able to convert, open,move,copy,sort, and make new folders,Print with axis for placements, and make catalogs in "Data Base". Also any design can be made into a pic.

thanks for the answers none of my designs show up in data base, I know how to find them there, the only way I can do it is to send the to documents, I got the programe of ebay mat=ybe thats the problem, thanks all of you.

I have many folders made in my 'C drive'
The new version pes does not show, so I convert using 'Pulse Ambassador' free program. pes,dst,exp,pcs,hus,will all show

I USE an old version - PE 5 and it seems sometimes to NOT save the order of stitches. Maybe there is a different way for me to save... I'd love to know if I am saving wrong!

I have pe design 7.0 and I know if I save something to layout and editing, it is also saved in design database... I would just check a few to see if they are in both places... I would also put them on a disk or a couple of them before getting the computer fixed. Good luck with your computer

Hi, Wendy! I'm sorry I can't help you with PE Design, but I want to welcome you to Cute, and to tell you: don't be nervous, don't worry about your spelling, we'll figure it out! None of us here are perfect, and we all make pretty bad typos sometimes, but we do seem to understand the questions & answers anyway, hee hee hee. If you have a external disc storeage copy all your designs onto it so you know that you have everything safe. I save everything in about 3 places 'just in case'

All folders will show up in Design data base.So if you have miss-placed your designs they are still in their folders where you saved them. Open design data base and from there you can open any folder that is on your computer.
I have many folders for Emb Designs.
Make one Folder for designs only and in that you can have countless sub folders for all your designs.
