Did you heard about Bhagavad Gita?

On 10th August, there is a birthday of LORD KRISHNA, a celebration time in India..

This is certainly a beautiful picture of Lord Krishna. I have several CD's of music from India, some songs about Krishna, they are so happy & cheerful I enjoy them very much, even if I don't understand the words. What parts I have come across of the Bhagavad Gita are thoughtful and wise. Thanks for sharing, hugs, Marji

I believe Lord Krishna is one of the most beautifull nd interesting Gods.

"yada yada hi dharmasya
glanir bhavati bharata
abhyutthanam adharmasya
tadatmanam srjamy aham" (Bhagwat Gita: Chapter Four verse 7)

"Sri Krishna said: Whenever and wherever there is a decline in virtue/religious practice, O Arjuna, and a predominant rise of irreligion—at that time I descend Myself, i.e. I manifest Myself as an embodied being."
