Beautiful lace. Gee if you have to look that hard and wonder if the lace is on the right way - it is definately not a problem - looks great to me.
It looks lovely.Do you mean that you have sewn the lace down ,so the wrong side is facing up & the right side is underneath? If this is the case ,can't you unpick it & fix it up .I often sew things together the wrong way because I'm not paying enough attention ,causing more work
I love lace and make a lot of handlace because it's always difficult for me to join several designs perfectly with my embrodmachine. Your work is beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
Nicely done. It's a lovely edge. As everyone has said, the edge is just great! The butterflies in the corners really give it a lot of interest.
Well, darned if I can see anything 'backwards' about it, Carolyn, that butterfly edging is lovely. I like the whole thing, nice design, nicely done. I love it when I 'lose' something, then find it & can appreciate it all over again, hee hee hee. Hugs, Marji
Very pretty Carolyn I enlarged the photo to 400% and the edging looks fine to me. It is so delicate. hugs joyce
This is really pretty. I like it even if the edge is on backwards. I don't think it makes a difference. Was the butterfly edge also one of yorikos?
That is really pretty!!
How could you have sewn it on backwards? The outside is larger than the inside. Regardless, you've done a far superior job to anything I've done. I haven't even attempted a doily yet. What kind of thread do you use to make the lace so fine?Mine always turns out very heavy and stiff from densely packed thread.
I love the butterflys, I think it is perfect!!!
Beautiful doily. Love the embroidery design and the lace edging works either way.
It doesn't look backwards to me and won't matter if it is. Beautiful work!
i just love it and i love when you find things that you forgot that you had...soozie
Carolyn, it looks great. Thanks for showing us. Hugs Yvonne
