I am kind of new to this and did not know about this product. checkout the links and also found this product. Sulky TenderTouch. It sounds like the same type of product. Was only $12 for 9 yard roll and free shipping from
http://www.worldweidner.com/. Ordered some to try.
Thank you for your question.

Basically the Prep Plus, Floriani Dream Weave, and Cloud Cover sold by Sick Designs are all a type of fusible woven interfacing.

Armoweft is the same thing.

Anita Goodesign is one digitzer that recommends using the Armoweft on Cottons and silk to prevent puckering and they use it on many types of fabric for their quilting and embroidery projects.

You do still need to use a stabilier if you are using the fabric backed with the Prep Plus, or Armoweft, or Cloud Cover or Dreamweave and embroidering on the fabric.

Carolyn at An Embroidered Affair sells the Armoweft on her website and it is 60 inches wide and you can buy it by the yard from her.
She has great service and could answer your questions regarding the Armoweft or any other products she sells.

It would be compareable to the Cloud Cover at Designs by Sick, or Dream Weave by Floriani.
It isn't a stabilizer but is a backing for fabric.

It is applied to the back of fabric and then if you want to embroider the fabric you would use a stabilizer.

You can use this on Silk or Satin and it helps to prevent snags and runs in the fabric from the needle & also controls the raveling on the ends of fabric.

Another similar product is Armoweft.
I will find a link for it so you can see it.

I haven't used it, but it sounds interesting. Maybe you should send for the free sample they offer & try it. It's a lot to purchase without trying. By the way, the product link doesn't work, I went to the main page & found it. There is also this soft fusible cutaway at Designs by Sick. Just FYI, their backings are from the same company as some major retailers use, designed by Fred Lebow who developed stabilizers for Floriani. Here's the link. Hugs, Marji
