How many of you keep a lint roller beside your machine? I used it a lot yesterday when stitching the cut work bookmarks. they help pick up all of the threads, and even help pull out some stitches

I use those all the time. I purchased a paint roller with an extention handle ) at the Dollar Tree ) and place two lint rolls on the paint roller and use to roll on the floor to pick up threads and pins. ( I also have a magnet for the pins.) A flower for you.

I also use a piece of fleece fabric in front of the machine. When I'm through stitching, I shake it out in the garbage. It won't collect all of the threads but it sure cuts down on them.

I have not understand what is a lint roller? Pick means "rassembler" and pull out :"arracher". Does that lint roller serve to remove threads. Your advice seems very interessting if you can explain me

a roller with a handle. The roller has sticky tear papers which will collect lint. When all the sticky is gone and roller is covered with threads and such then tear off a section of the paper, throw that one away and then you have a all new surface to collect the threads and such. Hope this helped.

I understand a little

So this lint roller is used tocollect treads who are already cut? Is it teh same object whitch is used to remove dog hair or dust from a skirt or a dress?

I do. Use it to pick up all those tiny bits of thread and clean my cutting mat as well. Had to undo a serger seam my daughter made (she'd rather throw the whole garment half finished in the trash than unpick the seam) and that produced quite a bit of little threads. Handy tool! *4U

Oh yes - i feel about like your daughter - I knew you probably knew of this. I get mine a Dollar Tree, and have a few around. I caught my younger DG using it to clean the sewing room floor - that one is not much good anymore. LOL
