great job! I remember putting my children in these when I lived in Norway. They had some that even had D rings on the side so you could keep baby from moving around in the crib. Looking back not sure it was the best thing, but It kept them safe. :)
Thanks,
you know back them we wern't as safety consious as we are today. They are the big thing now with the new moms. Sold one yesterday so I guess it is pretty good.
Gotta love the monkeys! I love what you did with them and the zipper on the side is a great idea.
You certainly conquered the July Challenge well and truly. Great job!
Thank you Marianne,
love these little monkeys, have had them for a long time, finally decided to stitch them out,
You have done very well with this one. Great little monkeys and I loce the 'cute' lettering Shirley
Well done and so very pretty. It was worth all the effort. I used to make these when the twins were younger but I put my zip up the front - I think yours looks much nicer. We just cannot buy nice ones here in SA. Sarah.
Thank you Sarah,
Yours are very cute, I wanted to make the
baby's bottom more accessible without disturbing his sleep. This way the entire right side opens up.

Nice job! Good to see you won the fight with the zipper.
43 inches! Wow! Excellent pattern making! Live Laugh Download Stitch!
So cute and like what you came up to make your pattern.
Wow how creative. You should patent (or whatever it is called)on the design and market it. You did a great job. Great answer to the challenge.
Thank you so much Mylinda
Well patents are so expensive that it would never be worth the cost and I am sure someone has thought of this idea somewhere (though I never could find a pattern for one) but this one is my own and I am proud of it and now that I have made one, the others should be easier.

Well like the monkies i think it is cute, cute, cute hugs
This is really nice and the monkeys adorable. You have made a great sleeping bag and I can tell the access would be easy with all the studs and the zipper. Great invention!!!
Thank you,
Have had this on my to do list for a long time and have a customer ask about one recently, so decided to tackle it, zipper and all.
Great Job! That is alot of zipper challenge with that fabric. This cute, cute, cute!
Thank you Mary,
The tricky part was sewing it in when your front and back are not the same lenght and with this fabric, it has a tendency to curl.
I admit I did take it apart once or twice but in the end I won the battle.
Congratulations on your lovely work and a second congratulations for sewing such a long zip in successfully
Thank you and thank you LOL
This was the longest zipper I ever put in, have a feeling I will be doing more.
Love it. Those monkeys make me smile every time.;)
this looks great & well worth the struggle & PS I hate zips too! Hugs Loralye
Thank you Loralye,
Zips are always a pain to install put getting easier. This one being so long and on this type of fabric was tricky, but I succeeded.
