I AM SENDING CONDOLANCES TO BERTHA (MY INDUSTREAL SEWING MACHINE) SHE DROWENED IN THE FLOOD.SO SORRY YOUR GONE REST IN PEACE YOU WHERE A FAITHFUL FRIEND..I LOST SOOO MUCH STUFF ,WE FINLEY FINISHED CATALOGING ALL OUR BELOGINGG 9 PAGES FONT AND BACK..3 HOURS SITTING WITH THE ADJUSTER,I NEVER EVER WONT TO GO THROUGH THIS EVER AGAINE..WE STILL DONT KNOW WHERE WE ARE GOING TO LIVE 15 DAYS LEFT ,THATS ALL,15 DAYS I KNOW THE LORD WILL PROVIDE IN HIS TIME BUT I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW HIS TIME LIMIT..HA..WELL I AM FEELING BETTER THE DOCTOR HAD TO SADATE ME FOR 4 DAYS TO GET SOME SLEEP I WAS GOING 24 -7 WORRIE WORRIE AND HALL SEWIAGE MATERIAL AND WOOL ALL MY SOMER CLOTHES AND THE LIST GOES ON..BUT I NEED TO BY A NE INDUSTRIAL MACHINE LIKE BERTHA ZIZ ZAZ STRAIGHT STICH AND SHE SEW CANVES.LEATHER.FOAM 2INCHES THICK BUT I CANT FIND ONE ON THE NET DO YOU KNOW WHERE I CAN LOOK I AM NOT SURE WHAT THEY ARE GIVING ME YET LOTS I HOPE BERTHA IS WORTH IS..THANKS ALL FOR LISINING...LUCY

I have seen some industrial machines on Kijiji - even juki. This was in the Edmonton area and I believe you are in Ontario, so couple provinces away. So there may be more out there closer to you - could be you haven't found one yet as you've had so much to do and it will show up once you have everything a little more under control.

I don't know if you have any places near you that does repairs on indust. machines, but if you do check with them they might have used machines for sale.

So sorry! but remember material things you will get them again, life no, so I am glad you and your family are okay, When Hurricane Andrew went to South Florida, we lost everything, but we were happy we did survive that horrible night/day.

Trying times, Lucy, but thank goodness you did have insurance. Lots of people don't pay for it when things are tough, then something like this happens. Best of luck for getting a roof over your heads and having all the mess sorted out.
