Martine, thank you dear - I used the auto photo stitch on this one. I have made one for my Mother - my daughter has that one, as well. I think framing them - might be they way I would go - more than the pillow.

Bettina, thank you dear - this was the frame that i had around my Mother's - so I thought I would use it on his - but it just didn't look right.

When I digitize a design - I have to do a test stitch out of it - to make sure that I have all the colors right - here is my TEST and the original photo that I used to create the pillow that I made to honor my Daddy. As you see - I didn't like the frame I had on the TEST - so I put a black satin stich around the photo stitch on the off white pillow front.
2. I also stitched this out on a man's hankie - to be used under his urn at his service and my niece Nikki now owns it.
3. This is a closeup of the hanky. My Daddy served in the Navy and was very proud of that - his service was also held on Veteran's Day 2005. Most of the pictures shared in tribute to him - were during his tour of duty. There was a video made that had pictures of his life and the many family members that he loved. I do miss my Daddy, especially on days such as today.
