shyanngranny- you posted this on one of the freebies -"Just got on. Remember the entire net is changing. Going from IPV4 to IPV6. There are going to be problems and delays. No clue how long this will go on." Can you explain to me what this means. Is everything changing or just for facebook and groups? Sorry - I'm not very computer literate when it comes to things like this. Thanks

The official launch was June 6, 2012. The recent slow access to this site may have been part of "problems and delays" but it should be fairly transparent moving forward. It is just a lot of work behind the scenes.

The internet has addresses just like streets have addresses. The problem is there is only one World Wide Web (aka www.). Because we are using more of the internet, we need more addresses. It is also like calling someone on the phone, if you run out of numbers to give out you need to add more digits. The IPV6 does just that for the internet. We will have more addresses. I am not sure about the "problems and delays" mentioned.
