I have one in my room. It works great on carpet. And there is a holder for it. And use it by the serger as a small trash can.
Wow thanks i really like the last one since i have gotten into fsl lately hugs carolyn
been using the toilet brush for years. Just be sure to label it so the family doesn't use it for the orginal intent
Some great tips here. Thank you for posting. Sarah.
toothpick idea is neat too. I have one of those cork backed hot pads (12"x15") that I use for hooping . keeps the hoop from slipping.
I don't think I will use the toilet brush idea as my sewing floor is tile and easy to sweep up....but I will be using the Bakers cooling rack idea for my FSL!
Thanks!

Great read, thanks for sharing these tips with us.
They forgot the wooden rolling pin, when hooping and you can't get the last corner in just roll over it with a wooden rolling pin, adding a bit of pressure.
Far easier than breaking your thumbs.
hey now thats a great idea Meg as I have bruised my thumbs a time or 2, hugs Loralye
Clever idea,
but I still don't think I'll keep one in my sewing room...lol
