Your presence is going to make a world of difference to your daughter and grandson. Just another caring voice in the house makes everything better. Please be sure to put in an extra jacket or two as it is icy cold up in Johannesburg.

It is time things start going right for you and your family. Hopefully you being there will be that turning point for everyone. Have a safe trip.

Dear Sarah, I pray that your grandson will soon be well and that the infection is under control as well. Have fun caring for him. ****

Thank goodness - there was no infection. Doc is very pleased with the wounds. Not too happy that Josh still has no feeling in his foot.

Another prayer answered. Sarah I am so happy for you that you are able to book your flight and will be there for 10 days - that will surely be a big help.

I really hope so Shirlene. I have been looking into hiring wheelchairs today so I can get him out a bit.

Sarah I'm sure it will help him just to have granny around :o)
There are so many little things you need help in such a situation.
Take care for yourself and your forehead!
Hugs, Bettina

Had to deal with our daughter's broken foot for three and a half months with the pins and screw. The plastic bag, towel, and tape to keep everything dry was a hassle every day but we got through it. Had one day where the bag got a leak and sat for an hour with the hair dryer on low heat trying to dry it out. Then started using two bags. lol Just being there and getting him things will be great. Did get our daughter out and used the stores wheelchairs and was very appreciated of the places that have them available. Do hope your head is healing and you feel up to the trip.

Anita, Many thanks for your caring post. His dad is going over today to help get him showered. Unfortunally he has to go to the hospital this morning as it looks as if one of the wounds is infected.

Thanks Terri - he is really fed up. I have told him when I am there we will go to a shopping centre and make use of a wheel chair. At least that will get him out. Sarah.
