My daughter and S-I-L are HOME !- They arrived at midnight and we went to bed at 3am. I have been sleepy all day, as we got up early too. They told us of experiences they had and how well the people treated them. They also told of how poor the village was, that they went to. There seem to be the very poor, or the wealthy, no in between.Christians are not allowed to work for any income. For that reason, the fact of how Christians are treated, I will not post where they went in India. I would not want to put the Christians there in any danger. The church here where my daughter attends, supports the ministry there. They do have an Indian pastor there. My daughter said they were so far back in time, you would not believe, and it is hard to describe the simple living conditions. Some 'homes' were shacks, others huts, and the monsoon season was fixing to start. Please remember these people in prayer......Now the town, where their hotel was, and the home they went to was different. They family there presented my daughter and the other lady in the group with Sharongs. I took some photos of the clothing. I will try to upload. I forgot to take photos of the jewelry and she's gone home now. The blue is for Avery and the others are for my d.The emb on the blue is almost like a wire, metallic thread I guess, but heavier than ours. The rolled up piece on the right side of the close-up of A's top, is her scarf. I forgot to take a pic of the scarf to her pink and she had another whole outfit, I forgot to take 1 of. Brought us some unusual things for the kitchen, too. Well, enough, I am going to bed. Thank God and all of you Cuties praying for them, they are safely home again. Continue to remember the Christians left there.Good night-Toogie

I have been thinking about you and wondering if you had heard from them or if they were home. So glad that made it home safely. The cloths are beautiful. I especially like the last group of pictures of the blue one. Thank-you for sharing what you could of their trip.

Hello,
Thank Lord they are back and safe. Which part of India did they go? I am from India. And we in Goa, we do not wear such clothes. They must have gone to some tribal remote area.

Oh Toogie, I'm sure you were relieved when you saw them! Did she say why she didn't call or communicate? Probably she couldn't! What beautiful gifts! I will continue to pray for those people. The world is not a safe place for Christians, just as the Bible says, we are already be persecuted. Oh My. God Bless the Christians around the World! Love and Hugs, Jan

She said it was so late when they got back to their hotel, wasn't sure of the time, change and all. and yes, sometimes she couldn't get through.Oh well, they are home.Yes, we sometimes don't realize, things like this ,still go on.

I am so glad for you that you daughter and her church group are home safe now. The items that you have pictures of are so lovely - I could never in my wildest dreams ever make anything that is that lovely. Such detail and lovely materials and threads and beads. Glad that we could help with our prayers, yes we will pray for the others, too.

Big relief that they are home safely. Always amazed at the intricate needle work they do on the garments.

Yes, glad for their work but also glad they are home. The fabric is very sheer, almost gauzelike, very delicate.

I am so glad that they are home and you are able to sleep. Yes we do have to remember how lucky we are when there is so much poverty in the world. I pray for them and often feel so helpless.

I really feel for them, it weighs heavily. We are so very lucky. One member spoke of how she felt, knowing that we could have been born anywhere else. We are so privilaged.

Thank you.I like the clothes too, they are beautiful. Had my daughter chosen hers, she would have probally chosen blue, for herself, as her eyes are blue too. However, they were a gift chosen b/4 they arrived.
