Why is it that if anything is to go wrong it happens on the last little piece when you have no more of that fabric left and cannot replace it,my placement is off just a tiny bit on one flower out of a whole quilt but it stands out like a sore thumb..have you cuties had this kind of problem, do you put it in the bin or pretend its not there...

Can you embellish the flower with maybe a button or bit of lace or ribbon? But, stuff seems to happen when you don't have a reserve, like dropping the last egg, bending the last needle, or my personal un-favorite-- running out of bobbin thread when you only need about six inches more

Are you sure it stands out to everyone else, or maybe just to you who knows? We are our harshest critics! Do we get to look?

I know what you mean, that is how I learned to decorate, buy covering up mistakes. I have gotten a lot of compliments on my cover ups.

Welcome to the real world. Do you think we push ourselves to the limit or just love a good challenge? LOL

I know the feeling. But remember it's probably more obvious to you then anyone else.

Sometimes I use a tiny zig-zag stitch to fill in spots. And the other suggestions listed are real useful. It depends on how off the design is as to how to make it work.

This is the reason I have a pile of undone projects. I am the worst measurer. Measure twice cut once -- yeah right! Live Laugh Download Stitch!

I tell everyone that I did it on purpose so that I can practice humility. It gets alot of laughs anyway. As stated before, you are probably the only one to notice it. Could yu add a flower bud or something to the design to make it look more centered?

Isn't it the Amish who, when quilting, deliberately put a flawed block in the quilt, because only God is perfect.

That's right parkermom- I just never have to "plan" to input an error.;)

I have found that only the creater (you) can see the mistake. If you say nothing no one will notice anything... just enjoy your creation...I am sure it looks just fine. Suzanne

Can you do some hand embroidery to fill it in and fix it? Or, maybe a fabric marker?
