Glad you're feeling well enough to go back to work. PT will help, you'll see.
Meri
Oh, Cindy, I am so happy you are doing better and back at work! I had a frozen shoulder a couple of years back, and never felt so incapacitated in my life, as then! I had thought my rotator cuff was damaged, but MRI showed it fine. After several months of heat, exercise therapy, and a cortisone shot, I got my arm to moving again! What a relief! Best wishes for continued improvement for you!
Hugs,
Angel
Thanks Angel, I am glad that you had such success for your shoulder. Unfortunately my rotator cuff is severely damaged and may not be able to fix it. But I am staying positive that the PT will help.
Cindy, I hope you will soon be getting better. Hugs, Judy
great news that you are feeling a bit better Cindy,
My shoulder was in very bad shape 80% of it was torn so bad my doctor said he had never seen anything like it but I was lucky and my orthopedist was fantastic. He put me back together 5 years ago and it is great. do not dispair these days they can do anything.
hugs
Michelle
Thank you Michelle, sounds like you know exactly what I am going through. The MRI showed that my rotator cuff is totally disconnected and has atrophied. Apparently my rotator cuff injury is really old and the muscle has receded and the dr. does not know if she can stretch the tissue at this point. PT for six weeks then reevaluate. hugs
Oh Cindy, I pray that the PT will help you. Did they give you some pain meds to help give you some relief? I know it was wonderful to go back to work but please take it easy and do not overdo. Hugs, Mary
Thanks Mary. I had Vicodin for 2 days. Pain is pretty much gone now. Yes I will take it easy, my dr. has put me on some restrictions, Don't lift over my head, and don't do the same task for more than an hour at a time. Hugs
Good to hear from you. It must have been an exhausting day back at work but probably nice to be out again. My friend kept those heat pads on her shoulder and finally avoided having the surgery but it took more than a year for her to have normal moment in it. Do hope your therapy goes well.
