Well this is my 19th day, with my cast after surgery and I am going CRAZYYYY. Have cleaned out all my embroidery files, reclassified, sorted and deleted old, lost and new files. Have organized all my binders, sorted and classified invoices. Searched embroidery sites in search of new ones I had not seen and tried not to purchase new ones (that did not work). I have enjoyed discoverying Embird which I purchased just prior to surgery. Have put designs together but not as motivating when you cannot stitch them out. Have shared some of my tips with you all and spend a lot of time on cuties trying to fill my days. I do not know what to do with myself. This one arm/hand business SUCKS and I have 22 days left to go. Thanks for letting me vent, this is harder mentally on me than physically despite the pain. I am definetly a doer not a sit and twiddle my thumbs kinda gal.

hugs

I would say you have done more in 19 days than most people do in 2.

If you are doing that. Well I could give you some files to organize. I have not found the time to do a lot of things. But I am glad you are doing good. And before you know it the cast will be off. Hugs and prayers, Peg

You really do need that Cutie convention that Meganne was talking about. You wouldn't have to worry about not being able to stitch - you could go around and help us new cuties figure out what we were doing wrong. You could be our lecturing instructor. Start thinking of lesson plans. LOL ;)
Hang in there. Vent to us anytime.

Get on the next flight to Salt Lake City - I will met you at the airport - you can do the same thing at my house and I will take you back to the airport and you can fly back home - Hehehe! It would be better than twiddling your thumbs.

This is my second round, first time no surgery though so no pain. I know it will get better and I will be much better off after this is all over so I will "HANG IN THERE" and try not to do like this little guy
and start swinging from the trees, now that would be scary, LOL

Now, go and watch your favourite movie, have some popcorn candy and soda or a warm drink, and just sit back and relax - all because you deserve a medal for everything you have achieved so far. Hope you soon feel well again.****

Oh Susie, I am so not the movie type. I do love the popcorn or chips part though but then, I will have to worry (more than I do already) about the extra pounds. You just can't win LOL

Hope so, almost halfway there, of course looking at 6 weeks physiotherapy after that but at least I can use it for minor things like fixing my hair LOL

Your making good use of your time. The filing and learning Embird may not have happened without being sidelined. You could sort out some projects and color combinations and have them ready for when you have the use of your arm again and pain free.

Well, I would say it hasn't been wasted. You have gotten thinks done that most of us have not. I know we all have to be busy and don't know what its like not to be able to do what we want, but slowing down for a mending spree is not such a bad thing, cause things will get better. Good luck and wish you the best!
