Hey Sara, what a cute little dress! We haven't talked in awhile, how've you been?
The only style I could wear when I was young! Love it! Live Laugh Download Stitch!
The flowers do show well on the dress and your GD is going to enjoy all the bright spring colors.
Next time I will make it with a solid and then put a design that will not compete with the dress fabric. We live and learn.
there are 2 links ass it is part 1 & part 2
Thanks for the link, lining sure makes it a lot easier, I only had to close the lining by hand and then sew on buttons. For someone that hates finger work as I do this is the way to go. Plus I think it looks much smoother than using facings.
well done & thanks fo rthe info too! ********ALL, HUgs Loralye
Plus I learned off U Tube how to line them and not use the facing patterns. WOW it is so easy. Remember if you do this to embroidery before sewing and no worry about design scratching on the inside. Just type in the search bar there little girls reversible A line dress. Sorry both pic's did not post. Sara
