So it is over, ouchhhh. Today it is painful but I think it will be better within a few days. The hardest part is only having one arm (can't stop me from typing though just takes longer one finger at a time LOL) and it is my good arm that is out of commission.

Doc says it went well so back next week for a new cast (6-8 weeks) and then 2 months of physio. Me out of commission for that long,
I may just go crazy but will deal with it one day at a time.
THANKS FOR ALL YOUR KIND WORDS AND GOOD THOUGHTS,
Hugs
Michelle

Glad you are able to post. It's an inconvenience for a short while but well worth being able to use your arm better. You will amaze yourself at how much you can do one armed and how creative you can get. My friend has one arm paralyzed and she has gadgets set up to hold stuff. My favorite one is the nail on the cutting board to hold a potato etc while cutting. She puts a cork on it when not using it. Also has a clamp like on a workbench to hold things. I hope your recovery goes really well. Hugs.

Glad to hear it is over with. Hopefully the time will fly by while your arem is out of commission. If nothing else just log on to cute and say hello once in a while and just sit there and read all the posts. Then maybe download designs if you are able. Hopefully that will help pass the time. Hugs, Mary

Great that the op is now behind you :) Six weeks is a long time but at least you can chat with your Cutie friends albeit one finger at a time :) Take it easy and allow your body time to heal :)
