To all who are praying for me - Thank you so much. I'm usually the strong one but right now I feel like bawling my head off. Pray that when we see the assessor again on Monday she will realise that she over estimated the value of the stuff left in my house. All hand me downs and things given when my family emigrated to Canada, the children left home etc. The stuff that got stolen was the only valuable things in the house, the I wouldn't even replace should the house burn down!

I pray that you will be able to replace both your machines with the money from the insurers. They unfortunately access things to today's value for replacement value. Talk to her and explain that you like your "oldies" but that you need your machines for a living. Get estimates from Bernina, in writing, to give to her, so that she can see the value of them. Maybe you have some pictures you could show her and maybe you can do some internet search for today's replacement prices? I pray things turn out as you would like. I've had my house broken into twice. Now have an alarm system and haven't had any trouble since, thank the Lord.

Thank you - we all mouthe the platitudes that it;s only material things but when you've worked a lifetime to get those things it's not so easy especially when someone breaks into your house and steals what yiu worked for - and he did nothing but take what ius not his. Hus and thank you
