My bobbin thread keeps snarling into a nest. I have changed bobbin, bobbin casing, needle, cleaned the machine, changed thread and bobbin thread. Any ideas? TIA Betty

Well, at least you got a clean machine out of the deal. :) I'm glad you got it fixed.

thanks and yes, it needed it, but itis so frustrating! You think everything is checked and duh, but at least it isn't going to the repair shop this time. Betty

I was going to say, check to see if your top thread has come out of the tension, or off of the take-up hook. Changing the thread forced you to rethread the machine, thus probably correcting the problem. Not really a problem with the thread itself.

Thanks, and that is probably what happened, but thought I changed that before I came to the site for assistance. Betty

Good Job! and yes, I forget - all the little things. That is a good checklist you have there. Live Laugh Download Stitch!

Never mind, as I was typing I thought to myself, did I change the thread I was sewing with? So as soon as I got finished, I changed and guess what? Problem solved. Maybe this will help someone else. Betty
